OPU Broke in the Top 100 Universities at SDG6 Category of THE Impact Rankings 2021

SDGs6 iconOsaka Prefecture University (OPU) ranked 99th for the activity toward SDG6 (Keyword) in the “THE Impact Rankings 2021” which was announced on 21th April 2021. This is the result our water recycle system at Nakamozu Campus and “Osaka Prefecture University Environmental Report” made high evaluation of the efforts.

THE Impact Rankings are the global performance tables that assess universities against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which was launched in 2018 and this is the 3rd edition.

SDGs consists of 17 goals in various fields, such as zero poverty, gender equality, and quality education. THE Impact Rankings cover all 17 goals to measure the performance of universities in each area and overall.

OPU also gained good scores in the SDG 9, SDG 12, SDG13, SDG 14 (Keyword) and reached 401-600th position among 1,115 universities from 94 nations and regions, including 73 Japanese universities in the overall.
