LastUpDate: July 24, 2018
The RoboCup 2018 international competition was held this year in Canada, June 18 to 21, 2018.
Our students and a Fukuoka University member team, named “HELIOS2018” won RoboCup “Soccer Simulation 2D League” two times in a row. This is the 4th championship for the team since 2002.
RoboCup is a competition of robots that are not operated by humans, but autonomously move by themselves. The “Soccer Simulation 2D League” is one of the RoboCup events in which software robots play soccer in a virtual soccer field that is created within a computer.
