Our Research Group Received the Best Overall Paper Award at the 25th ICCE

LastUpDate: January 11, 2018

Dr. Yuki Hayashi of the Graduate School of Humanities and Sustainable System Sciences and Professor Kazuhisa Seta’s group, received the Best Overall Paper Award out of 213 entries at the 25th International Conference on Computers in Education (ICCE) held at Christ Church in New Zealand, Dec 2 to 8, 2017.

Lead author assistant professor Hayashi’s comment:

I am very happy to receive such a prestigious award. We got the basic idea for this research three years ago.  Since then, after many failures, it took us a long time to get really good results. When I was a master’s student I was nominated for the ICCE 2007 Best Student Paper Award, but didn’t get it. Now after ten years, it feels like I’m recovering something I lost.
Now I’ll work to get further results.
