For this purpose, people must consider the utilization of various resources such as food and energy and the production and utilization of new materials useful for human life to develop a society in which human beings can live comfortably. The College of Life, Environment, and Advanced Sciences educates students in specialized areas, focusing on how bioscience and biotechnology can explain the biological diversity of life, biological functions and their uses, and the creation and conservation of a sustainable environment. In addition, the college teaches natural science to help students understand and utilize the wide range of natural phenomena. It also cultivates problem-solving skills based on high moral values and creativity, and fosters talented people who are able to contribute to industrial and social development and scientific progress.
School of Veterinary Science
The school fosters veterinarians, technical experts, and researchers to contribute to social and industrial development and scientific progress. Students gain specialized knowledge on advanced veterinary medical care, problem-solving skills, and creativity together with a deep understanding of bioethics and the coexistence of human beings and animals.
School of Applied Life Sciences
The school fosters students’abilities to work actively in a broad range of bioscience and biotechnology fields by conducting education and research on the diverse life phenomena of every living organism and their applications.
School of Environmental Sciences and Technology
The school fosters students’abilities to help find solutions to issues on the degradation of urban environments and global-scale environmental problems. Our graduates will be provided with skills to contribute to the sustainable development of urban areas and construction of a recycling-oriented society by cultivating ideas for the creation and renewal of green energy. The school offers an integrated education that combines ecology, environmental science, and social science.
School of Science
The school focuses on the elucidation and understanding of natural phenomena. Students engage in intensive study and research of core natural sciences such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology in order to use their active spirit of inquiry and wide range of knowledge for the creation of new science and technology.
