Ltd.2004 Tutor at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia2007 Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi MalaysiaProfileI am Malaysian and came from a big family with 9 siblings. We were brought up to be independent and responsible persons. My one-and-only older sister was excellent at school and she is my idol even until now. We always studied and played together, and looked like twins. In Malaysia, as Muslim, we have to go to two types of school; common education school and religious school. Sports and clubs are held on weekends only. Since Malaysia is a multi-racial society, I was exposed to many languages such as Malay, English, Arabic, Mandarin and Tamil, which developed my interest in foreign language. With excellent results after secondary school, I was granted a scholarship from Malaysian government and selected to enter university directly for a 4-years program (usually 5-years) without pre-university preparation. Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is the best engineering university in Malaysia. UTM is my first choice and I entered Computer Engineering Course as I wanted to know how computer was build.第2回「世界に翔け!理系女子大学院生」表彰最優秀賞受賞I was given opportunities to participate in several domestic and international conferences. Being able to meet with researchers from around the world, having discussion and getting more friends, they were really excited! In addition to that, going to a conference is like a bonus to me because it is a visit time! We went to diff erent places, tasted diff erent cuisines, saw diff erent cultures and many more. We went to 2 international conferences in Malaysia; one in Kuching, Sarawak and another is in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. During in Kuching, we saw the biggest fl ower in the world, Raffl esia, while Kota Kinabalu is famous with its tallest mountain in the Borneo Island. My research in Osaka Prefecture University is regarding Design and Management Issues in IP-over-CWDM Networks with Reconfigurable Optical Add/Drop Multiplexers. My laboratory members and I came out with a remote system that can control the network through World Wide Web. IP-over-CWDM networks are considered as next-generation networks. The data are transferred from one destination to another by lightwaves generated by laser with different colors. Our laboratory proposed Stackable Reconfi gurable Optical Add/Drop Multiplexers (S-ROADM). The S-ROADM can pass-through unlimited numbers of lightwaves. We won a best paper award at an international conference by our proposal S-ROADM.As a student, a wife and a mother of 2 little kids, my daily schedule is full and tight. From early morning, I have to prepare breakfast, lunch-boxes and snacks for my kids, send them to the nursery, going to the laboratory, fetch my kids on late afternoon, preparing dinner, bathe my kids and let them sleep before I continue with my study until late at night. Thanks to the busy-life, I have no time to worry, no time to be sad and healthier than ever!I’m very grateful for having a friendly and a very supportive laboratory. Thanks to my kind supervisors and supportive laboratory members, I was able to receive several awards during my 3.5 years study in OPU. Furthermore, I can speak, write and read Japanese far much better than the fi rst time I came to Japan.28As a researcher, I would like to contribute something that is rewarding and useful for the human-beingAs a researcher, I would like to contribute something that is rewarding and useful for the human being. As a mother, I would like both of my daughters to be successful and happy in their life. As an educator, I would like to see my students become someone who is worthy for the country. Even though winter is hard, spring is always waiting ahead! Assume yourself like a diamond, it is always valuable forever.将来の目標・夢 Dream後輩へのメッセージ Message子ども時代から大学入学まで大学生活国際学会に出席して
