The School of Humanities and Social Sciences was established by the amalgamation of three entities: the former School of Comprehensive Studies, the School of Social Welfare at Osaka Prefecture University, and the former School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Osaka Women’s University.

Our school comprises three departments: Language and Culture, Human Sciences, and Social Welfare. Distinguished faculty members are engaged in conducting distinctive researches across the three fields.
