Ours is an age of low birth rates, aging population and increased globalization, and we at the School of Nursing endeavor to keep ahead of these rapid changes in social structure by producing nursing professionals with the capacity to work in a broad range of areas.

In order that our nurses have not only a high degree of expertise but also the rich compassion becoming of their profession, we at Osaka Prefecture University offer a step-by-step curriculum that allows students to deepen their education systematically. We start by grounding nursing students in the basics as a stepping stone to various areas of specialty. Lectures are combined with wide-ranging hands-on training that ensures students are able to put their classroom knowledge into practice.
