Graduate School of Science

Introduction

To the Frontier of Science

The Graduate School of Science has the same four courses as the undergraduate school: Mathematics and Information Science, Physical Science, Chemistry and Biological Science, all of which are taught to both master’s and doctoral levels. The school research and education system allows students to study the natural sciences in a consistent fashion from the foundations to the cutting edge, using material covered in the undergraduate school as a base. Through research at the frontier of science, each course aims to discover new phenomena and understand how they work. Through this, students gain an ability to think logically and communicate clearly.
