President Hiroshi Tsuji visited Taiwan September 17 to 23, 2017 at the invitation of the Ministry of Education of Taiwan. He attended signing ceremonies at two universities to renew our Academic Exchange Agreements.

During his stay in Taiwan, President Tsuji visited National Taiwan University as well as National Taiwan Normal University, National Taipei University of Technology, National Chiao Tung University, National Dong Hwa University, National University of Tainan and Tamkang University. The latter six schools concluded academic exchange agreements with Osaka Prefecture University.
He visited the facilities of each school and exchanged opinions with the president.

In a discussion with Guan-Chau Huang, Deputy Education Counsellor of the Ministry of Education, Taiwan, President Tsuji expressed his gratitude for this invitation to Taiwan and asked for cooperation in exchanges between Osaka Prefecture University and universities in Taiwan.

The Deputy Education Counsellor stated that higher educational institutions in Taiwan will certainly profit from Osaka Prefecture University’s knowledge in the future
