On July 27, an academic exchange agreement was concluded between the OPU Graduate School of Life and Environmental Sciences, Division of Veterinary Science and the Colorado State University (CSU) College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences to promote cooperation in academics and research.

A delegation of eight professors from CSU visited the Nakamozu campus for a signing ceremony.
