Special Guest Professor Program 2013: Dr. Rupak K Bhadra (Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, India)

Osaka Prefecture University invites many leading researchers and educators as Guest Professors throughout the year. Each invited professor spends approximately one month at OPU to conduct special lectures, seminars, and individual discussions with faculty and students. The Guest Professor Program aims to stimulate students’ intellectual growth, to provide firsthand access to the finest world-class research, and to build tighter relations between OPU and leading universities around the world.

Our ninth guest in 2013 is Dr. Rupak K Bhadra from Infectious Diseases and Immunology Division, Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, India. Dr. Bhadra is one of the most distinguished scientists in the field of Vibrio cholerae research and has published a number of excellent works in world-famous journals.

During his stay from November 1 to November 22, he gives lectures and seminars, together with many opportunities of discussion with graduate students, at the Graduate School of Life and Environmental Sciences, and School of Life and Environmental Sciences.
