Cancellation of Classes

Regarding cancellation of classes in case of disruption of public transportation or storm warnings

1. In case of disruption of public transportation

All classes will be canceled if transportation is suspended in any of the following circumstances.

Case 1.

For Nakamozu Campus:
1) If all routes on the Nankai Koya Line are suspended.
2) If all routes on both the JR Hanwa Line and the Nankai Main Line are simultaneously suspended.

For Habikino Campus:
1) If all routes on the Kintetsu Minami Osaka Line are suspended.
2) If all routes on the Kintetsu Bus are suspended between Fujiidera Eki Mae and Furitsu Iryo Center, and between Furuichi Eki Mae and Osaka Furitsu Daigaku Habikino Campus (or Furitsu Iryo Center).

For Rinku Campus:
1) If all routes on both the JR Hanwa Line and the Nankai Main Line are simultaneously suspended.

Case 2.

For Nakamozu Campuses:
1) If all routes on both the JR Osaka Loop Line and the Osaka Metro are simultaneously suspended.

However, in both cases and for each campus, classes will be held from the 1st period (9:00 a.m.) if public transportation services resume by 7:00 a.m., and from the 3rd period (12:55 p.m.) if they resume by 11:00 a.m.

2. In case of a storm warning or an emergency warning

All classes will be canceled if a storm warning or an emergency warning is in effect in any of the following circumstances.

For Nakamozu Campus:
1) An emergency warning is in effect in the Osaka Prefecture area.
2) A storm warning is in effect in Sakai City.

For Habikino Campus:
1) An emergency warning is in effect in the Osaka Prefecture area.
2) A storm warning is in effect in Habikino City.

For Rinku Campus:
1) An emergency warning is in effect in the Osaka Prefecture area.
2) A storm warning is in effect in Izumisano City.

In any of these cases, classes will be canceled in the morning if a warning is in effect as of 7:00 a.m., and they will also be canceled for the whole day if it is in effect as of 11:00 a.m.

In the case of classes not being held on campus, but off the school premises, classes may be suspended by the direction of the instructor based on the above.
(If an emergency warning or a storm warning is issued at the site where the class is scheduled to be held, that class will not be held.)

(Attention) If an emergency warning or a storm warning has been issued, take action by placing first priority on ensuring your own safety.

3. Cancellation of classes in case of other emergency

Classes may be canceled when the president decides that it is necessary for the safety of students.

(Attention) For other circumstances, separate rulings will be established and notified as necessary.
