Master of Economics

The master program in economics is a comprehensive and sound educational program that will enable its graduates not only to handle economic issues in theoretical and empirical aspects, but also to propose the best economic policies to resolve them. The program equips its graduates with the advanced knowledge and quantitative skills required for an advanced researcher or a specialized professional in contributing to the development of the global economy and society.

The master program in economics contains two fields: a theoretical and statistical economics field and an applied economics field. The theoretical and statistical economics field comprises five sub-fields: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Behavioral Economics, Statistical Economics and Economic History. The applied economics field comprises seven sub-fields: History of Economics, Economic Policy, Social Policy, International Economics, Industrial Economic Theory, Public Finance and Financial Theory.

Master in Business Administration: Field of Management and of Law

Master of Business Administration

The master program of business administration places importance on education and research into the business administration of organizations including non-profit organizations, centered on complex and rapidly changing corporate activities, and from the various perspectives of business administration, accounting and law. The program cultivates researchers and advanced and specialized professionals, who can contribute to the development of society because they have practical and creative abilities that can contribute to the global economy and society.

We study and research from a variety of angles of law, accounting and business administration with regard to the management of organizations, including non-profit organizations, focusing on business activities within an environment of intense change. There are six courses within the field of management studies: Management Organization, Management Strategy, Personnel Management, Marketing, Management Accounting and Financial Accounting. The field of law studies composes Public Law, Tax Law and Private Law (especially, Law of Torts and Corporate Law). The satellite classes do not offer specific courses; they are for the Strategic Management and Law Study Program.

Master in Business Administration: Field of Science in Tourism Management

Master of Science in Tourism Management

The Tourism Management and Regional Design Program is designed to contribute to the dynamic development of tourism and regional renovation in the 21st century. Especially, it focuses on the newest trends and tendencies of tourism in various urban areas of Japan to train the next generations that are capable of creating future tourism business and industries.
This program provides students with the holistic understanding and analytic skills of tourism research from economic, managemental and socio-cultural perspectives.

Doctor in Economics

The doctor program in economics is a training program for original research activity in the fields of economics, business administration, law and tourism. The program aims at equipping its graduates with the creative research and analysis ability and abundant scholarly knowledge required for a highly competent researcher or an advanced specialized professional in contributing to the progress of scholarship in his/her respective specialized areas and to the development of the global economy and society.
